Marco Polo. On his expedition to Asia for discover new
world.Later, under the Mongol Emperor, Kublai Khan, he
published the book“Rusticello da Pisa”(ll Milione). In it,
he described the “Country of Gold”-ZIPANGU- Which was the
first name given to Japan by Europe.
Q: New &
Modern Japanese cuisine?
A: Our
cuisine is not only sushi and tempura. These are world
famous dishes as you say. Our chef learnt international
cuisine overseas for the last 50 years and discovered how
to arrange many international cuisines for the Japanese
palate. Our entire menu is almost all created the Japanese
way which means it is based on authentic Japanese cuisine
styles and in fact it is 21st century Japanese style
cuisine!
Q: How to
enjoy ZIPANGU'S menu?
A: We prepare
a huge grand menu every night plus nightly specials. Our
dining is “Sharing” so you have your own plate and share
the dishes. So you should pick from the menu Quick,
Chilled, Grill, Deep Fry for starter and share these dishes
with your family and friends, it's great fun!Have another
beer, order some more dishes.., anything you want to
share.Then if you are still wanting, order a“main”or
“Something more”from the menu, or how about Afogato for
dessert or Flat white to finish your evening? We want to
share our time, and have you enjoy our dishes and
experience 21st century Japanese
cuisine.
